Advanced Materials & Thermoplastics

bags2-70.jpg (160287 bytes)

Thermoplastics resulted from industrial materials research and have been applied in the NASA space probes and military applications.    In outer space, the sun's energy causes the temperature on one side of a solid object to reach 250 degrees Fahrenheit in seconds.  On the other side of the solid object the temperature descends to 250 degrees below zero.  The use of radiant shielding material  blocks up to 95 percent of the Infrared and UVA-UVB radiant energy.

We have achieved significant results in thermal container products where temperature stability and compliance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration thermal performance is important.

Leak Proof Re-closable Bags  are now available that are actually leak proof.  These high quality products are used by divers to prevent external-to internal leakage during deep ocean dives and are used in transport of biologicals and  certain chemicals in situations where leakage of fluid contents is a major concern.

Puncture Resistant Plastics are utilized extensively in packaging for dangerous goods shipments.  These plastics are made from a printable high tensile strength material.  It is 6.0 mils thick but has the equivalent strength of 14.0 mils of   widely used plastics in the health care industry.

There are many possible combinations of materials which we can utilize in our special applications area.   What is reflected in the photograph is the tip of the ice-burg.

Each of these products can be purchased separately in pouch form on a minimum order basis.
